Isn't that just the saddest face that you have ever seen? It just breaks my heart looking at it. Addison came down with a fever on Friday, and I thought that it was probably teething because she was chewing on her hands a lot and cuddling with her blanket. Sunday night was a rough night. She couldn't sleep and she was up every two hours or so. Luckily, Kris was off on Monday, so he let me sleep in to catch up on my zzz. Well, on Monday she broke out in a rash on her belly and back. Her cousin had had the same exact thing a couple weeks before, so we were pretty sure we knew what it was. No big deal, it wasn't bad and she seemed like she was feeling better. But, by Tuesday the rash had gotten worse and she was irritable (that is when the first picture was taken), so I called the doctor and made an appointment for the next day. So...Addison has Roseola, which is just a viral infection that affects infants and toddlers. There isn't anything that they can give her, only Motrin or Tylenol. Nearly every kid gets it before they enter kindergarten, so it is pretty likely that Kendall will get it here shortly. Oh, joy!!! lol On a positive note...we did get some new ointment for Addison's eczema that is on her face, so hopefully that will be gone soon, too.
We hope that everyone is having a wonderful Spring so far and getting more sleep than we are!!!
