And So it Begins...

Addi has never really been into walking around while holding onto your hands.  She has been completely content to cruise around the house using walls, doorways, furniture.  But these past couple days, Addi has decided that she is ready to walk.  She took three steps all on her own at Kris' parents' house yesterday and today she took five.  She just let go of the coffee table and made it halfway to the tv console.  You never know what you are gong to get with this little girl!  She will probably be walking on her birthday...you just never know.

Happy Father's Day to the best father, husband, and friend these three girls could ask for.  Kris, you are truly an amazing man.  The girls love you soooo much and you can see it in their little faces every time you walk through that front door.  They both jump up and down screaming because they are so excited to have you home.    You work so hard for our family and I am so thankful for you.  You are the best dadthat any little girl could ask for.  WE LOVE YOU!

We Got Another Tooth

Addison has been teething for the past week...with 3 new teeth coming in.  One of her top fronts finally poked through today and it looks like the other front with pop out in the next few days.  I am still super excited that she has teeth for her first birthday.  Birthday cake...here she comes!

ADDISON IS ELEVEN MONTHS OLD!

I can't believe that our little girl is almost one years old.  Where has this year gone?  It really has just flown by.  Addison is such a character.  She cracks us up with her looks, smiles, and screams.  This month has been a little crazy with me being laid up and Kris having to be Super Dad.  I didn't think that Addi could become more of a Daddy's girl, but she is officially attached to Kris' hip.  This is what Addison has been up to this month...

*She eats everything! She is at that wonderful age where she eats anything that you put in front of her.  Her favorites are bananas, turkey, chicken, bread, carrots, and pasta.
*She dances EVERY TIME that she hears music.  It is either a bounces up and down or swaying back and forth.  She stops whatever she is dong and just grooves.
*She still cries when she sees new people...I hope that she grows out of this really soon.
*She likes to yell at me and Kris.  She just sits there and yells babbles until you pay attention to her.  It sounds annoying, but it is actually pretty funny.
*She loves her big sister.  They are playing so well together lately.  They just sit and laugh together and it just makes my heart melt.
*We call her Frank right now because she likes to chug whatever she is drinking.  She throws her head back and just goes for it.  It is hilarious.
*She cruises all around, but she doesn't have a whole lot of interest in walking.  I try to walk with her while holding her hands and she doesn't seem to like it too much.
*She still takes two naps a day.
*She can fit into Kendall's clothes...seriously, they are already sharing clothes.  She can wear anywhere between 9 months and 24 months.
