I can't believe that our little baby is already six months old. Where does the time go? She is such a happy, mellow baby...nothing really seems to bother her too much. This month, we started introducing new foods. So far, she has had green beans and prunes along with her oatmeal. She doesn't seem too fond of either one of them, but she eats them all up. As long as they are food, i guess. She rolls around a lot now and she pushes up on all fours. Oh no!!!! I see crawling in the very near future. She absolutely loves the baby swing outside, and will sit in it, for what seems like, forever. She talks up a storm... especially right after she wakes up or is done eating. She can sit up by herself, but she hates doing it for some reason...weird. She loves sucking on her hands and fingers, but she doesn't do it to sooth herself. It seems that she just does it while she is playing around. She giggles and smiles when you say "dada" or "mama" to her over and over again. Her eczema had cleared up, but we still are putting lotion on it everyday to prevent flare ups. Kris has been of since Dec. 17th and it has been awesome having him around. Addi lights up when she sees him. I sense that she might be even more if a Daddy's girl than Kendall...if that is even possible!
Addi wants to eat everything that we eat sooooo badly. She doesn't have any teeth yet, but I decided to let her try to eat something solid. So, we tried a Baby Yum Yums. She loved being able to "bite" into something, but I had to help her mash them up. Hopefully, she will get some teeth soon and she can have some real food.
Our little girl has reached another milestone. She has been able to sit up for a while now, but she hated it. She would go straight into her crawling stance when I tried to have her sit. Now, all we have to do it keep her entertained while she sits. Isn't she such a cutie?!
Addi absolutely LOVES taking baths. She splashes water everywhere by kicking her legs. Kendall really like helping rinse soap off of Addi. We will probably be switching Addi into her bath seat soon, so the girls will be taking baths together. How fun!!!

We continued our tradition of ringing in the new year and Kris' parents' house. We had a great time playing cards and laughing. It was a great night! Theses pictures crack me up (Thanks, Kathy!). The girls look like they partied a little too hard!
