Christmas Time!

Yay! It's our favorite time of year, and we didn't waste anytime decorating our house this year. Saturday, we got everything down from the garage and got busy Christmasing the inside and outside of our house. The girls even got into the spirit. We tried out something that I had seen on pinterest in the flowerbed and I think they turned out great! They are $3 tomato plant cages turned upside down and wrapped with $2 white lights. Pretty crazy, huh? I just love how everything turned out. I love Christmas and now that our family is complete...it makes this holiday season so much more special!

Hello!

Sorry, that it has been so long, we have been pretty busy around here. Addi is doing great and she makes us smile everyday. Her day consists of eating, playing, and then sleeping in that exact order...over and over again. She loves looking at her sister and the dogs. She smiles and giggles alot, and I absolutely love it! Hope that everyone had a great holiday.

Addison is 4 months (and a week)

Addi had her four month check-up today, and of course she did amazing. haha. She weighed in at a whopping 16 lbs. She is in the ninetieth percentile in weight and head circumference, and she is exactly average in height. She only had to get two shots this time, and she only cried for a few minutes.
Kendall went along and did really well, too. She sat in her chair the whole time we were in the office and didn't even freak out when Addi got her shots.
Addi is developing her own little personality more and more these days. She smiles and giggles a lot. She loves when you play with her by play "sneezing" or saying "boo" close to her face. She giggles every time...it is the cutest thing ever. She rolls over from her back to belly in lightning speed, but still won't roll over from belly to back (unless it is out of frustration). She has been waking up twice a night this past week to feed...a growth spurt, maybe? She falls right back to sleep after she eats, so it isn't too bad. Oh, and she wakes up talking and laughing to herself...that even makes 1 am feedings pretty cute. She doesn't like to be held too much. She either falls asleep in her swing or by herself in her bassinet...which is completely opposite of how Kendall was. Addison also loves her daddy, which is the complete opposite of Kendall, too. Addi didn't mind it one bit when I went back to work, which made it a really easy transition for all of us. She eats 6 oz at night and 4 oz during the day. The doctor said that we can introduce rice cereal any day now, but I think that I am going to hold off for a little bit. Just because she is doing fine, and there isn't any need to rush it.
Addison is such a great baby. We love her so much!

Addi's First Halloween

Have I mentioned before what a great baby Addison is?! Seriously, I think she really enjoyed her first Halloween (even with her Daddy teasing her about not having any hair). She slept most of the time while we trick-or-treated, but she enjoyed the rest of the festivities with a smile on her face.
Kris toned down the Halloween decorations this year now that he two little girls, and Kendall is beginning to become scared of somethings. Grandma Joyce bought Addi a really cute ghost costume, but I totally forgot to pick it up. I am sorry! She would have looked adorable in it, too.
We hope that everyone had a great day and enjoyed all of their treats...next year Addi will be ready for some candy!

*It is crazy to think that almost exactly a year ago we found out that we were pregnant (Oct. 28, 2010). Addi was just a speck inside of me and today, she is a laughing, smiling four month old. Wow...it is crazy how much life can cange in only a year!
