Christmas!!!

I love, love, love this time of year.  We have had so much fun starting and continuing family traditions this year.  We started our annual tree decorating night with "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and then it was time to decorate.  We only lost about two ornaments this year and none of them were too sentimental, so I think we can consider this a successful event.  After decorating, Addi "helped" Daddy put the train tracks together for the big toy train that Kris' uncle, Jim, gave us this year.  The girls loved watching the train go around and around on its tracks.  They also loved trying to grab it, much to their father's dismay.  Lol.  We can't wait to enjoy all of our other holiday traditions this season and I will try my best to post more pictures.  Hope that everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!

FALL

We love our Addi.  She doesn't really smile for the camera, but she sure is a goof ball.  When she makes that scrunched up face, it usually means that she is yelling at someone or something.  Lol.  She cracks us up.

Addi the Amazing

So...the other day, when Kendall said that she was ready for her nap, I put Addi in her crib and left the room.  I came back five minutes later to see what mess they had gotten into, only to find BOTH of the girls fast asleep.  I wondered if this was a fluke, so I tried it the next day...and I saw the same outcome.  So, I thought, "I wonder if she would do this at night, too?"  I put Addi into her crib when I could tell that she was getting sleepy and she fell right asleep.  She has been putting herself to sleep for the past three nights and she hasn't even cried once!  This is a big deal because Kendall never did this and still doesn't do this.  K used to cry so hard when we left her in her crib at night that she would make herself throw up.  This is why Addi is amazing and I am so proud of her.

Happy Addi

I love this picture
This year was Addison's first year camping at Lake Millerton.  It is a Block family tradition to go for a week every summer...we lasted three days this year.  Lol,  Addi came down with a rash and a minor ear infection the Friday before we left.  So, let's just say that she didn't have the best time at the lake.  She had her happy moments and some sad moments.  She really liked the boat, and she fell asleep as soon as we started really going fast.  She didn't really like the feel of the sand, so she preferred Kris or myself to hold her most of the time.  She loved playing in the bed of Grandpa's truck while we played horse shoes.  She also slept really well.  She took 2 naps everyday and slept through the night.  All in all it was a great trip, but I hope next year that she enjoys it a little more!

We Have Ourselves a Walker

Well she is walking all of the time, but she is well on her way.  She can stand from sitting all by herself, without hold onto anything.  She does about five steps at a time, but more when I put shoes on her.  Our little girl is growing up too fast.  I can hardly wait chasing her around EVERYWHERE...I hope that you can hear the sarcasm in my voice!
